Is Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus better than the original? + before & after photos
Last year, I had the opportunity to try Revive Collagen’s standard marine collagen drink but with limited success. I experienced a very slight improvement in the fine lines on my forehead, but it was hardly noticeable. Plus, I didn’t experience any other skin benefits, which didn’t match up with the brand’s claims of younger, more hydrated, and healthier skin. In all honesty, it was a bit of a letdown.
So when the brand reached out asking if I’d like to try its Enhanced Plus version, I was very curious but also pretty sceptical. Each Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus sachet contains greater levels of collagen than the original version, alongside other ingredients that the original version doesn’t contain, such as vitamins C, D, B6, and B12; keratin; and retinol.
But would this mean greater skin benefits? Would I notice an improvement in the look and feel of my skin? Is Enhanced Plus genuinely more effective than the original version? Do collagen drinks actually make a difference to skin? I had a lot of questions.
In this comprehensive Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus review, I share my genuine experience with the collagen drink along with a handy before and after photo to truly evaluate whether this product works.
What is Revive Collagen?
Founded by The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) star Samantha Faiers, Revive Collagen specialises in collagen drinks that promise to be more quickly and effectively absorbed into the body compared to collagen creams and tablets. The drinks are designed to be easy to consume for people on the go.
Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus ingredients and claims

Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus claims to help revive dull and tired-looking skin while reducing the signs of ageing. Each sachet contains 10,000 MG of Type 1 hydrolysed marine collagen per serving along with over vitamins and ingredients to deliver “superior results”.
As well as skin benefits, the collagen drink promises to hydrate, strengthen, and nourish hair; reduce fatigue; and promote good joint health.
Key ingredients
Excluding water, the top 5 ingredients on the INCI list are:
- Hydrolysed marine collagen (fish): works as a moisturiser and emollient (softens and soothes the skin)
- Citric acid: an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from citrus fruits that can exfoliate skin
- Erythritol: a low-calorie sweetener
- Hydrolysed keratin: a humectant (retains or preserves moisture) and hair-conditioning ingredient
- Natural flavouring: exactly what it says
See the full INCI list below:
Water, Hydrolysed Marine Collagen (FISH), Acidifying Agent (Citric Acid), Natural Flavour Enhancer (Erythritol), Hydrolysed Keratin, Natural Flavouring, Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Natural Sweetener (Stevia), Vitamin B6, Vitamin A (Retinol), Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), Vitamin B12
How is the Enhanced Plus version different to the original Revive Collagen drink?
Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus contains 10,000 MG of Type 1 hydrolysed marine collagen per serving, whereas the original version contains 8,500 MG per serving. While the original version contains hyaluronic acid and aloe vera juice, which Enhanced Plus doesn’t, the enhanced version contains vitamins C, D, B6, and B12; keratin; and retinol instead.
The original version has a lemon & lime flavour and is halal, whereas Enhanced Plus has a tropical flavour and isn’t halal.

How to consume Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus
Each Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus box contains 14 sachets, which you are advised to drink daily. You’re instructed to only drink 1 sachet a day. You can either drink the liquid from the sachet directly, or you can mix the liquid in with water. I mix my sachet with water for a more diluted taste.
My thoughts on Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus
Off the bat, I can confirm that Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus is more effective than the original version. Now, I’m not saying it’s miles better and delivers transformative results, but I could see a difference in the fine lines under my eyes. They appeared less prominent, and my under-eye area generally looked plumper.
This drink also tastes better than the original version. A lot of consumable collagen products are known for tasting awful. Neither of Revive Collagen‘s drinks taste bad, but I think the Enhanced Plus version has a less bitter taste, which I find more pleasant.
Since finishing the sachets, if I’m honest, I can’t say I’ve noticed a big difference in my skin. I wouldn’t say it looks more radiant, and it doesn’t feel particularly different either. I do welcome the slight reduction in fine lines under my eyes, but the results haven’t been game-changing for me.
- Pros
- Helps to slightly reduce the appearance of fine lines
- Skin was slightly plumper
- Decent taste considering that collagen products typically taste awful
- Easy to consume
- Great for people on the go
Cons
- Expensive
- Results aren’t transformative
- Not vegan or halal

Is Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus better than the original?

Yes, Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus is better than the original. The reduction in fine lines was more noticeable, and I prefer the overall taste.
This collagen drink still hasn’t blown me away, though. However, it appears like I’m in the minority, as tonnes of people online rave about these collagen drinks.
Rating: 3.5 stars
Although I’m really happy I got to try the enhanced version of this collagen drink, I think this product would be a better investment for more mature skin that is looking for an easy way to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
